Orlit Retail is web based, however, to accommodate the uniqueness of the retail space it requires a local server. The retail server allows you to have multiple sales point per location. Furthermore, it hold sales locally for eventual synchronization to Orlit Admin in case of internet break. The server is light weight and can run on the same machine as the POS client, in the case of a single sales point.
